At Rontech Security, we believe there is no universal "best" security system for all applications.
A security system should be designed adequately to safeguard you and your assets against adversaries who pose a threat.
|
 |
Many different physical security devices and electronic surveillance systems are available that can be combined to form a security system. Physical protection is provided by locks, safes and structural barriers such as fences, walls and doors. Electronic surveillance is provided by interior and exterior intruder alarm system with alarm signal transmission monitoring, access control and CCTV systems.

|

|
The key to having the best security system is selecting the
correct security devices and systems and implementing adequate security controls and operating procedures to ensure the safety of your assets.
A physical security system consists of four equally important interacting functions
- delay
- detect
- alert
- respond
The first function,
delay is provided by the presence of physical barriers protecting your assets, such as safes, walls, ceilings, doors and fences. The second function,
detect is accomplished by the Intruder alarm system detecting the presence of an intruder or unauthorised person(s). The third function,
alert, is provided by the Intruder alarm system sending an alarm transmission signal identifying the specific type of alarm and location. The fourth function
respond is executed by the action taken that responds to the intrusion alarm. If these four functions are not tightly integrated in the security system design, then your assets might not be adequately protected.
| Remember |
: |
If no one hears and reports the intruder alarm and more importantly if no one responds to the alarm, then the Intruder Alarm system is totally inadequate, except perhaps as a psychological deterrent.
|
